Having someone like this on your team makes sure you get a chance to soak up every magical moment without the worry that something has been missed. My goal as a photographer is to help create and capture the magical moments that take your breath away so that you can revisit them time and time again.
Many of my brides and grooms seem to favour a more ‘off-beat’ wedding and perhaps this is a reflection of my vibrant, creative and authentic photography style. I’d love to hear from you if you are especially planning something a little ‘different’!

How did you get into photography?
Photography has always been a passion of mine; growing up in such a large family, there were always weddings, get-togethers and parties. I love capturing moments, scrap-booking and making videos. Watching and looking at these years later is the most beautiful thing. Turning that passion into a business was a very natural and automatic thing to happen. I’m so pleased I get to call this my job
What is your typical booking process
I like to meet couples at the booking stage. It’s really important that we share a vision and our personalities gel. We can have a natter over coffee somewhere locally or we can arrange a video call. After all, I am going to be with you for a large proportion of your wedding day! We then meet 1 or 2 months before your wedding date for a full planning session to get the finer details in place such as special shots, schedule for the day, key bridal party members etc.
To secure a booking date with me, I require a £400 deposit (fully refundable up to 6 weeks before the wedding day) and a signed contract. The rest of your package balance is due anytime on or before your wedding day. If you want to pay the remaining balance in instalments, this can easily be arranged. Money can be accepted via paypal, bank transfer, cheque, or cash in person.

How are my photographs delivered ?
Wedding galleries are delivered via an online app. From this you can download, share and print the photographs as you wish. My packages are ALL INCLUSIVE so there will be no requirement to purchase licenses or additional photos. I also gift my couples a complimentary photobook of their special day and produce a video slideshow with music for them to share on social media or with family via email.
When can I expect my photographs ?
I have a 3-6 week turnaround time for weddings (depending on season). However, I will edit a handful of photographs within 48 of the wedding (a ‘Sneak Peak’) so that you have something special you can share immediately. The complimentary photobook can be expected a further 6-12 weeks after your wedding.
What is your favourite part of photographing a wedding?
Aside from the emotional bits… (nothing beats a tear-jerking speech, or an emotional groom at the alter!) I love being involved in planning surprises! From first dances with a secret routine planned, to balloon drops or surprise guests who’ve travelled in secret to be there.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
I adore a precious half hour alone with my newlywed couples. Having a selection of photographs of just the two of you is really important. My couples often say they really enjoyed a quiet moment alone with their new husband/wife to enjoy each other and take a breather during a busy wedding day. Bonus points if you book a full day and we get a lovely sunset!
I appreciate that the thought of taking portraits terrifies the life out of most couples. You can rest assured that I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve to get your feeling relaxed and carefree for some truly breathtaking and authentic images 🙂
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Do your research and meet with suppliers! Employing complete strangers to be there on your big day is quite daunting, and risky!…don’t you think! ?It’s important to have a team of people working with you that share your vision. You can always decide to go elsewhere if you meet and things don’t feel right.
When should I book my photographer?
I strongly advise reaching out to photographers approx. 12-18 months before your wedding day. I take on a very limited amount of couples per year so my slots go pretty quickly.
What is your favourite type of wedding to photograph?
This is actually really hard to answer! I’ve never photographed two weddings remotely the same. Weddings are so individual and personal. I love learning about the different quirks of my couples and producing a wedding album that helps highlight all of the beauituflly thought out details.
That being said, I’m a sucker for a venue with lots of natural light! Light is everything when it comes to photography so I’m always on the look out for it 🙂
